MT 13:24 Jesus told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

MT 13:27 "The owner's servants came to him and said, `Sir, didn't you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?'

MT 13:28 " `An enemy did this,' he replied.
"The servants asked him, `Do you want us to go and pull them up?'

MT 13:29 " `No,' he answered, `because while you are pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.' "

and this is what she said to me.

"Do you know the story about sower and the wheats and the weeds? The servants wanted to cut off all the weeds so that the wheats will grow better but the Master didn't allow that as that would risk some of the wheats getting cut off as well. Instead, the weeds and the wheats will be allowed to grow till harvest time, where the weeds will be burnt and the wheat brought into the storehouse. That is you and i. We are a work in progress and we will always have bad in us until Judgment Day. And then we'll be perfect in Christ."

I'm not a perfect christian girl. Neither am i a good christian girl. I'm simply God's child. A work in progress.=)

Jen and I share the goal of wanting to be shining lights in law school. To be different. To point all those lost, broken, unloved around us to Christ. The make-up of law sch is truly different (the competition, as friendly as can be, can kill). As is all the various environments the Lord has seen fit to place you in. But never forget, the joy of the Lord. It is the joy in the Lord IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES that makes us shine and direct broken-hearts to the Healer of Wounds.
